Sacred Space (2026) Installation
In Sacred Space, a traditional Indian temple bell is suspended within the walls of the art gallery — a gesture that transforms the space from one of observation into one of presence. Visitors are invited to ring the bell as they enter, announcing their arrival and sanctifying the environment through sound and intention.
The act of ringing the bell is both personal and communal — it is a moment of mindfulness that connects the visitor to an ancient Vedic tradition. In temples, bells mark thresholds: the crossing from the external to the internal, from the ordinary to the sacred.
Sacred Space proposes the gallery not only as a site of aesthetic engagement, but as one of ritual and resonance — where art becomes an invocation, and sound becomes a shared meditation.
